John Tompkins Owner/Supervising Pharmacist

John is a 1992 graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy with a Bachelors degree in pharmacy. After graduation, John worked in the Rochester area as a Supervising Pharmacist for Fay’s Drugs. In 1997 John took a position with Merck in their mail order division at a newly opened automated mail order Medco Pharmacy in Las Vegas. In summer of 2003, John and his wife Toni returned to the Rochester area taking pharmacy positions with Wegmans. In the fall of 2006, John and Toni opened Mendon Pharmacy.

 

Jennifer Flannery, PharmD, RPh

Jennifer joined the Mendon Pharmacy team in 2010 bringing to us 11 years of retail experience. She received her doctorate from the Albany College of Pharmacy in 2002. Following her graduation, Jennifer worked for Eckerd/Rite Aid for over 7 years in several locations including Bushnell’s Basin, Pittsford Plaza, and Penfield. After the birth of her 3 children she returned to work part time and is extremely delighted to be a part of Mendon Pharmacy.

 

Toni Tompkins, Pharmacist

Toni is a 1991 graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Pharmacy with a Bachelors degree in pharmacy. After graduation, Toni worked in the Rochester area as a Supervising Pharmacist for Fay’s Drugs. In 1997 Toni and John took positions with Merck in their mail order division at a newly opened automated mail order Medco Pharmacy in Las Vegas. In summer of 2003, Toni and John returned to the Rochester area taking pharmacy positions with Wegmans. In the fall of 2006, John and Toni opened Mendon Pharmacy.

 

Kristin Goold, RPh

Kristin is a 2000 graduate of the Albany College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation, she worked for 2 years as a staff pharmacist for Hannaford Supermarkets. Upon returning to the Rochester area, Kristin began working for both Wegmans and Tops before finding a home at Henderson’s Lima Pharmacy, until it closed in 2012. She brings over 25 years of experience, along with knowledge of all aspects of community pharmacy to the Mendon Pharmacy team. Kristin’s passion for independent pharmacy started with her first job at Fay’s Drugs at the early age of 16.

 

Alisha Cessna, Pharmacy Technician Manager

Alisha graduated in 2010 from Saint John Fisher College with a dual certification in Childhood Education and Special Education. While attending Saint John Fisher, Alisha came to work for Mendon Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician. Alisha continued her education attending the State University of New York at Geneseo, graduating in 2013 with her Masters degree in Literacy. She continues to work at Mendon Pharmacy and became manager in 2011.
